Job Summary

Role: QA Engineer
Location: Montreal QC

Responsibilities:

Gather document and communicate business requirements with the acumen required to inform stakeholders of varying technical backgrounds.
Create test plans in collaboration with a development team using agile scrum methodologies.
Help with manual testing and develop improvements to automate the process.
Take ownership of the regression testing execution and work closely with test lead/senior members
Create automated tools and scripts to reduce repeated manual work in regressions.
Collaborate with Product Management and UX to deliver client-centric solutions and value.
Coach and mentor new and existing members of the team
Elevate the team through the contribution of your unique skills passions and experiences.

Required:

Technology Degree or diploma or related field experience.
Years of professional experience working in a related field.
Experience in ReadyAPI/SoapUI/Rest Assured or any other backend test automation tool.
Good knowledge and experience in an object-oriented development language (like Java C or Python).
Creativity Integrity and a passion for solving problems.
Ability to thrive in a team environment. We prioritize the team above any individual.
Effective communication and collaboration skills with the ability to be successful working with diverse global and cross-functional teams.

Nice to Have:

Experience working with a front-end automation tool Selenium
Experience with HP QC & Jira.
Experience working on Agile teams
Interest in fintech and software technology
