About the Role

We are seeking an experienced AI Solutions Architect to lead initiatives that enhance engineering productivity through the strategic adoption of AI technologies. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building and deploying AI systems in production collaborating with diverse internal stakeholders and ensuring compliance with international legal and regulatory frameworks.

This role bridges the gap between research architecture and implementation - driving measurable improvements in software development processes through innovative use of both Generative AI (GenAI) and traditional AI/ML techniques.

Key Responsibilities

AI-Driven Productivity: Design prototype and productize agentic workflows and LLM-based systems that improve engineering productivity and developer experience.
Solution Architecture: Develop scalable architectures that integrate AI solutions with existing engineering IT and software ecosystems.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with engineering IT and legal stakeholders to deliver compliant production-grade AI solutions across the software development lifecycle.
Compliance & Governance: Ensure AI systems adhere to legal ethical and data protection requirements across multiple countries.
Technology Leadership: Evaluate and integrate emerging AI technologies and frameworks to enhance system performance and maintainability.
AI Techniques: Leverage Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) fine-tuning and traditional ML techniques to develop hybrid AI models that address engineering challenges.
Continuous Improvement: Identify and address friction points throughout the SDLC using AI augmentation tools and frameworks.
Measurement & Impact: Define and track KPIs to demonstrate measurable improvements in productivity and engineering efficiency through AI interventions.

Required Qualifications

Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science AI/ML Data Science or a related field.
10 years of experience in AI/ML engineering or AI solutions architecture.
Proven track record of building and deploying real-time AI systems into production.
Deep understanding of Generative AI RAG systems fine-tuning and AI agent frameworks.
Strong architectural expertise in integrating diverse technologies across software engineering environments.
Familiarity with AI compliance and data governance requirements across multiple countries.
Hands-on experience with AI augmentation tools applicable to enterprise environments.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to engage with diverse teams across engineering IT and legal functions.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with modern AI frameworks such as LangChain LlamaIndex or other orchestration tools.
Background in software engineering productivity or developer experience (DevEx) improvement roles.
Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS Azure or GCP) for deploying AI workloads.
Familiarity with MLOps or model deployment processes (external use cases preferred).
Demonstrated success in introducing AI tools into large-scale organizations.
