Job Summary
Position Overview
Applications Developer will support the design development enhancement and maintenance of enterprise-level applications for MDEK12. This is a 100% remote long-term staff augmentation role supporting mission-critical systems. While an incumbent exists all qualified candidates will be considered equally.
The ideal candidate is a stable long-term contributor with development experience capable of working independently in a remote environment while meeting security and compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Design develop test and -based applications
Support and enhance existing enterprise applications
Troubleshoot and resolve application issues in a timely manner
Collaborate with internal technical teams and stakeholders
Ensure applications meet security performance and quality standards
Participate in code reviews and follow development best practices
Provide documentation and ongoing application support
Work effectively in a remote environment while meeting delivery timelines
Required Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field
Strong experience application development
Experience supporting enterprise-scale applications
Ability to work independently in a remote setting
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Must be able to meet security and background check requirements
Stable work history preferred (long-term roles strongly valued)
Experience working with government education (K-12) or public sector clients
Prior experience in long-term staff augmentation roles
Familiarity with enterprise application environments
Strong documentation and communication skills
