Role Summary

We are seeking a senior-level Demand & Supply Chain Planning Consultant with strong data modeling expertise to support analytics reporting and data architecture initiatives in a High-Tech Manufacturing environment.

This is not a pure Demand Planner role and not a pure Data Modeler role.
The ideal candidate sits at the intersection of supply chain planning and analytics with hands-on exposure to Kinaxis ERP planning data (Oracle) and the ability to translate complex planning logic into scalable analytical data models.

You will work closely with planning teams business stakeholders and data/BI teams to enable accurate forecasting supply planning inventory optimization and performance analytics.

Key Responsibilities

Demand & Supply Chain Planning Expertise

Understand and model end-to-end planning processes including:

Demand forecasting and statistical forecasting
Forecast adjustments overrides and scenarios
Consensus demand planning (S&OP / IBP inputs)
Supply planning and capacity planning
Production planning and scheduling
Inventory planning and optimization
Safety stock and reorder point calculations
Allocation ATP/CTP and backlog management

High-Tech Manufacturing Context

Apply planning concepts within a high-tech manufacturing landscape including:

Make-to-Stock (MTS) Make-to-Order (MTO) and Configure-to-Order (CTO)
BOM-driven and multi-level assembly planning
Contract manufacturing and outsourced production
Long lead-time components and constrained supply environments
High SKU velocity and short product life cycles

Data Modeling & Analytics

Design and maintain fact and dimension data models for demand and supply planning analytics
Translate planning workflows and business logic into scalable analytical data structures
Work with ERP- and Kinaxis-sourced planning data to support forecasting inventory and supply KPIs
Support analytics and reporting needs related to forecast accuracy bias service levels and performance metrics
Collaborate with data BI and planning teams to ensure data consistency and accuracy

Required Skills & Experience (Must Have)

8 years of experience across Demand Planning Supply Chain Planning and Data Modeling
Strong hands-on experience with data modeling for planning and supply chain analytics
Solid understanding of demand and supply planning processes in a manufacturing environment
Experience designing fact and dimension models for analytical use cases
Hands-on experience working with ERP planning data (Oracle preferred)
Ability to translate planning concepts and process flows into analytical data models
Strong understanding of forecasting inventory and supply planning logic

Experience with Kinaxis RapidResponse
Experience with Oracle Supply Chain Planning Cloud
Knowledge of S&OP / Integrated Business Planning (IBP)
Familiarity with forecast accuracy metrics (MAPE MAD Bias)
Exposure to global manufacturing or multi-site planning environments

Soft Skills

Strong communication skills with both business and technical stakeholders
Ability to work independently in a contract-based role
Structured and detail-oriented approach to data design
Comfortable working in fast-paced cross-functional teams
