We are currently looking to speak with Junior IT Deployments Engineer with experience of deploying an PCs Laptops Monitors etc. The position will be responsible for the deployment of hardware on clients sites.
The ideal person for this position should be highly motivated with a demonstrated ability to work under pressure by handling multiple assignments simultaneously as well as learning new skills and procedures along the way. This person should be experienced with deploying desktops/laptops access points switches etc and will be interfacing directly with customers of all sizes on-site and position requires travel on a daily basis.
The position offers real career progression within the company and support to attain industry based certification.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for successfully installing new and/or rebuilding existing PCs for clients including configuring hardware peripherals services settings directories storage etc.
- Works with clients to troubleshoot and resolve any deployment challenges.
- Creates tests validates and deploys images as needed.
- Ensures all documentation is properly maintained and updated in a timely manner.
- Provides timely verbal and written communications with clients vendors and staff.
- Ensures a high-level of customer satisfaction by following procedures properly and completely.
- Continues to improve technical and customer service skills through continuing education and certifications.
- Preventative maintenance Documentation Reporting and Alerting
- Ad hoc Remote and Internal Project work
- Formulating plans of resolution utilising all technical resources available.
- Work with staff to promote develop and maintain a positive experience for the Client.
- Participate in departmental training activities including training programs in support of new technologies procedures and customer service enhancements.
Technical Requirements & Experience:
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to provide quick resolution to problems and think on your feet.
- Must be customer service and detail-oriented.
- Exceptional time management skills is punctual and honours commitments.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to customer locations to perform work.
- Ability to remain current with changing technology as it relates to imaging deployment and customer support.
- Strong Exchange/O365 experience required.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2-3 years experience in a closely related position doing imaging and desktop deployments.
- Knowledge of Windows and Microsoft licensing.
- Knowledge of desktop/laptop hardware for simple tasks such as RAM upgrades hard drive replacement etc.
- Practical knowledge of TCP/IP DNS DHCP and common protocols.
- Practical knowledge of O365/M365 and Outlook configuration and management.
- Practical knowledge of Windows user profile data migrations.
- Microsoft qualifications are an advantage.
A full Irish driving licence is mandatory for this position.
To be considered for this position applicants must be eligible to work and reside in Ireland (holder of an EC Passport or a Current Stamp 4 Visa).
