Job Summary
**Core Responsibilities:
**
- Execute routine diagnostic radiological procedures in alignment with the applicable Task Order (TO).
- Comply with radiation safety standards and protocols as established by the Radiology Department.
- Submit the necessary image series to the radiologist for evaluation in accordance with Military Treatment Facility (MTF) protocols.
- Accurately position patients for examinations and perform required technical adjustments. Assess any specific preparatory requirements for the patient prior to imaging.
- Process digital imaging data and forward it for interpretation by radiologists.
- Document all procedures meticulously and maintain records in compliance with MTF policies.
- Conduct system calibrations and execute quality control tasks as guided by manufacturer specifications and MTF directives. Identify artifacts and equipment discrepancies promptly notifying appropriate Government personnel of any anomalies.
- Initiate repair protocols for equipment malfunctions by alerting designated Government personnel and document incidents in the trouble call log.
- Monitor and communicate to the radiologist any patient symptoms pertinent to their condition particularly in relation to adverse reactions from contrast media. Recognize emergencies that necessitate resuscitation protocols in cases of cardiac or respiratory distress.
**Work Schedule:**
- Monday through Friday 8.5 or 9-hour shifts scheduled between 7:00 AM and 8:00 PM including a designated lunch break.
- No weekend or holiday obligations.
- No on-call or call-back requirements.
**Minimum Qualifications:**

**Education:** Graduate from a program accredited by JRCERT.-
**Experience:** A minimum of one year of practical experience within the last three years or as stipulated to satisfy clinical competency standards.-
**License:** Active S-ARRT registration or ARDMS certification required.-
**Life Support Certification:** Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.-
**Security Clearance:** Eligibility to pass a Government background check and obtain the necessary security clearance.
