Position Overview

The CNC Operator is responsible for operating CNC machinery to produce precision parts that meet customer specifications and quality standards. This CNC Operator role is ideal for someone who can run machines independently follow detailed instructions and maintain strong attention to quality and safety.

Required Experience & Skills

High School Diploma or equivalent required
CNC certification OR 13 years of CNC machine operating experience
Strong math skills and attention to detail
Ability to read and apply customer drawings and specifications
Critical thinking and basic problem-solving skills
Ability to work with complex machinery and tooling
Strong communication and teamwork skills

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Operate CNC machines to produce parts that meet customer requirements
Interpret drawings specifications and work instructions
Enter required specifications into CNC equipment
Load tooling and support machine setup for production runs
Monitor machine operations to maintain quality and efficiency
Perform basic quality checks using measuring tools
Maintain a clean and organized work area following 5S standards
Follow all safety procedures and company policies
Communicate effectively with leads and operations management
Perform additional duties as assigned
