Were seeking a senior marketing operator who can step into a complex fast-moving turnaround and immediately drive performance across our trades retail portfolio (4 brands $120-130M combined revenue 9 company-owned locations). This is a player-coach role requiring someone who can both think strategically and roll up their sleeves to fix tactical blocking and tackling.
Youll work directly with our Fractional CMO to assess stabilize and rebuild our marketing operations ahead of peak season (March-April) while developing playbooks that will scale across our franchise system.
This is not a brand-building role. This is a performance marketing RevOps systems optimization role for someone who thrives in fix-it-fast environments.
Compensation & Logistics
- Remote-first with occasional Atlanta travel. Candidate must sit in the Greater ATL area
- Start in February
- Estimated 25-35 hrs/week during peak assessment/stabilization scaling down during transition
- Expected engagement: 6-9 months with potential to extend
- Rate: $80-100/hr
What Youll Do
Weeks 1-4: Rapid Assessment & Triage
- Audit paid search SEO/GEO and media channel performance across brands
- Identify immediate quick wins (eliminate waste fix broken campaigns)
- Assess vendor ecosystem (countless vendors currently most underperforming)
- Evaluate internal talent and identify capability gaps
- Map customer journey friction points impacting conversion
Months 2-3: Stabilization & Quick Wins
- Rationalize and consolidate vendor relationships
- Implement weather-triggered emergency campaigns
- Fix Service Titan CRM workflows and lead visibility issues
- Optimize telephony/call tracking infrastructure
- Establish baseline KPIs and reporting dashboards
- Prepare demand generation engine for peak season
Months 4-6: Foundation Building
- Develop repeatable demand generation playbooks
- Build attribution and ROI measurement infrastructure
- Align marketing sales operations handoffs
- Document SOPs and institutional knowledge
- Activate and manage Rosie specialists as needed
- Create franchise-safe marketing toolkit
Months 6-9: Transition & Scale
- Train/transition to permanent internal team
- Extend learnings to franchise system (if applicable)
- Support organizational design recommendations
- Ensure sustainability of systems and processes
Qualifications :
What You Bring
Required:
- 12 years in performance marketing with at least 5 years in senior leadership roles
- Deep expertise in demand generation and full-funnel conversion optimization
- Proven experience in home services field services or franchise systems
- Strong RevOps mindset - you understand the entire lead revenue journey
- Experience rationalizing vendor ecosystems and managing agency relationships
- CRM expertise (Service Titan Salesforce or similar field service platforms)
- Data-driven with ability to quickly establish metrics and reporting
- Turnaround or PE-backed portfolio experience strongly preferred
- Comfortable operating in ambiguous fast-moving environments
Nice to Have:
- Experience with franchise marketing (balancing corporate vs. franchisee needs)
- Local/regional marketing expertise (SEO/GEO GMB local search)
- MarTech stack optimization experience
- Background in organizational transformation or change management
- Prior experience as an interim executive or fractional leader
