Job Summary
Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and responsible intern for a full-time 8-week summer this position you will gain hands-on experience under the guidance of our talented professionals.
Are you looking for real-world experience in manufacturing and operations Our internship gives you a hands-on look at how businesses runcovering budgets labor analysis efficiency improvements and planning. Youll work with experienced professionals solve real problems and help make operations run smoother. If youre curious about how things work and want to build valuable skills for your future this is the perfect opportunity
This position will be based onsite (not remote) at Wonderful Citrus located in Delano CA. This schedule for this internship is 40 hours per week Monday-Friday. Days of the week and work hours may change due to business needs.
Heres what youll do:
- Partner with peers and leadership to learn S&OP
- Learn about the latest technology in citrus production
- Lead and deliver an operations improvement project
- Learn the fundamental of continuous improvement
- Update and develop departmental standard operation procedures
- Provide general administrative support to the operations team
Qualifications :
Heres what youll bring to the table:
- Must be a current Wonderful Scholar
- High School Diploma/General Education Diploma and currently pursuing a Bachelors degree in Business or related
- Must upload a resume professional reference and cover letter with your application
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Minimum of beginner proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook Word Excel PowerPoint)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-directed and able to work autonomously
- Energetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideas
Pay Rate: $18.50 per hour.
