Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and responsible intern for a full-time 8-week summer this position you will gain hands-on experience under the guidance of our talented professionals.

This position will be based onsite (not remote) at Wonderful Citrus located in Delano CA. This schedule for this internship is 40 hours per week Monday-Friday. Days of the week and work hours may change due to business needs.
Heres what youll do:
- Learn and understand all aspects of the Packing House Operations from the time the fruit is received processed and shipped.
- Assist in production planning for the various departments such as presort pack and bagging.
- Work alongside various production roles including Operations Supervisors Clerks and Operators.
- Identify develop and support continuous improvement opportunities.
- Update and develop departmental SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures)
- Assist with WOW projects and identifying quick wins
- Provide general administrative support to the operations team
Qualifications :
Heres what youll bring to the table:
- Must be a current Wonderful Scholar
- High School Diploma/General Education Diploma and currently pursuing a Bachelors degree in Business Agriculture or related
- Must upload a resume professional reference and cover letter with your application
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Minimum of beginner proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook Word Excel PowerPoint)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-directed and able to work autonomously
- Energetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideas
- Good problem-solving skills and communication
Pay Rate: $18.50 per hour.
