Job Summary
Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and responsible scholar for a full-time 8-week summer this position you will gain hands-on experience under the guidance of our talented professionals. You will work closely with our elite sales leaders in planning and execution marketing and sales tasks.
This position will be based on-site at Wonderful Citrus located in Delano CA. The schedule for this internship is Monday-Friday 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM. Days of the week and work hours may change due to business needs.
Heres what youll do:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Responsible for accurate order entry including prices and quantities
- Understand at a basic level the sizing grades shipping/packing locations and pack styles
- Awareness of product availability to effectively support the sales team
- Communicate regularly through email and verbal communication with Account Executives/managers to stay up to date on any changes and or availabilities
- Communicate with the internal transportation and or outside transportation companies to set up appointment times follow up on no shows and address cancelled orders to all parties involved
Qualifications :
Heres what youll bring to the table:
- High School Diploma/General Education Diploma and currently pursuing a Bachelors degree in Business or related
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Minimum of beginner proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook Word Excel PowerPoint)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-directed and able to work autonomously
- Energetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideas
Pay Rate: $18.50 per hour.
