As a Quality Lead you will be accountable for the implementation of the overall Quality Management System for project execution. This includes performing field inspections where required. This position is also responsible for the supervision and oversight of day-to-day Quality activities this includes tracking and reporting of Quality documentation and data to ensure that Regulatory and Client specifications are being met.
What would you be doing
- Conduct regular reviews and audits of quality activities at fabrication shops and field sites ensuring compliance with the Quality Management System (QMS) applicable codes standards and client requirements.
- Supervise and support shop and field Quality Inspectors and Representatives providing overall quality oversight.
- Represent the company during internal and external audits including client and FLINT audit programs.
- Plan manage and oversee all quality activities throughout construction phases including NDE PWHT pressure testing and equipment calibration.
- Manage non-conformance and corrective action processes and work closely with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure quality requirements certifications and submittals are met.

Qualifications :
- CSA W178.2 Level II (or higher) with applicable endorsements and valid eye exam or API 510/570 certification (Piping or Pressure Vessel Inspector).
- Minimum 5 years of industry experience in Quality Control with strong knowledge of ASME and CSA code requirements.
- Proven ability to interpret drawings specifications regulations policies and procedures across quality activities.
- Strong leadership change management organization and documentation skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Bluebeam with a related technical diploma (WET or MET) or Journeyperson certification considered an asset.
