Job Summary

Endava is a UK-heaquartered US-listed technology services group present in 30 countries. 

The Credit & Collections Manager is accountable for the effective execution of Endavas credit and collections activities. The role focuses on team leadership operational delivery and continuous improvement working within established group policies and partnering closely with Billing Customer Master Data Sales and Delivery teams.

Key responsibilities:

People & Team Leadership

  • Lead coach and develop the Collections team setting clear objectives and performance expectations
  • Build a culture of accountability collaboration and continuous improvement within the team
  • Support recruitment onboarding training and ongoing capability development of team members

Operational Management

  • Manage day-to-day credit and collections activities ensuring timely and effective collection of receivables
  • Apply and enforce group credit and collections policies consistently across assigned regions or portfolios
  • Monitor aged debt and dispute pipelines ensuring appropriate prioritization and escalation
  • Act as an escalation point for complex customer issues and sensitive internal stakeholder discussions

Performance & Continuous Improvement

  • Use reporting KPIs and analysis to track performance identify risks and drive corrective actions
  • Contribute to initiatives aimed at reducing aged debt and improving cash flow predictability
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes through standard and automation supporting finance transformation initiatives
  • Work closely with Billing and Customer Master Data teams to identify root causes of delayed payments and help implement sustainable solutions

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Build strong working relationships with Sales Delivery and Finance stakeholders to support positive client payment.
  • Engage directly with key clients where required to resolve payment issues professionally and effectively

Qualifications :

Essential Experience & Skills:

  • Proven experience managing a credit and collections team
  • Strong hands-on experience across collections activities including ageing management dispute resolution escalations and stakeholder engagement
  • High level of data literacy with experience using reporting and KPIs to manage performance and drive improvements
  • Experience improving processes including exposure to automation and standardisation initiatives
  • Strong communication and influencing skills with fluency in English
  • Comfortable working in a hybrid model with at least 3 days per week in the Cluj office

Desirable Experience:

  • Experience in a business-to-business services or professional services environment
  • Experience using Oracle including Oracle Collections tools
