Join Our Team as a Gem Manager!

In this role you will provide support for the continuous improvement process and for the proper functioning of module activities.

What youll Do:

Develops and implements the organizations operational strategy and manages resources to ensure performance indicators are achieved.
Collaborates with global functions to standardize best operational practices.
Participates in defining the factorys mediumterm strategy (STRAP).
Ensures process performance at the Production level and contributes to defining factory performance indicators.
Responsible for achieving the factorys productivity objectives.
Responsible for meeting Production quality objectives (scrap PPM etc.).
Collaborates with the Supply Chain department to improve raw material flow management.
Collaborates with the Maintenance department for rapid problem solving and increased equipment availability.
Works with Supply Chain on short and mediumterm SIOP planning and plans required resources (headcount overtime hiring needs etc.).
Collaborates with the Technical department to define line capacity and improve operational flexibility.
Collaborates with the NPI department to launch new products on time and without errors

Leads the GEM Operational Excellence Certification process and participates in knowledge sharing and benchmarking activities with other Plants.
Reviews and approves GEM and Six Sigma training proposals; defines the annual GEM training plan.
Establishes improvement objectives together with the Plant Director and Leadership Team.
Promotes continuous improvement culture based on Kaizen principles in highimpact SQDCI areas.
Acts as a change agent for improvement initiatives and ensures correct application of GEM and IoT concepts.
Manages and monitors GEM maturity assessment systems within the organization.
Responsible for the Kaizen process at department level.
Consistently identifies improvement opportunities and contributes to factory performance through Kaizen ideas and coaching techniques.
Participates in internal thirdparty corporate and secondparty (customer/certification) audits.
Performs Gemba walks 5S audits periodic LSW audits and identifies nonconformities.

Defines and leads the factorys process digitization roadmap providing periodic OPEX reporting.
Establishes the AOP plan and coordinates its execution ensuring crossfunctional collaboration to solve problems improve processes and support new technologies/equipment.
Leads the Digitization/IoT strategy in collaboration with IT AME and GEM focusing on data acquisition tools data analysis investment planning and ROI calculation.
Manages the factorys advanced digitization plan coordinates audits and drives digital improvements in management processes.
Monitors digitization projects and reports progress periodically.

What we need:

Technical University Degree

Minimum 4 years experience in a similar position

Key Skills and knowledge:
