Security Officer Level I & II (Multiple shifts)

This job is responsible for performing routine patrol and clerical tasks that require some security knowledge.

We are hiring for 3 shifts:

• A Shift: Monday-Wednesday and every other Sunday (6:00am-6:00pm) 
• B Shift: Thursday-Saturday and every other Sunday (6:00am-6:00pm) 5% shift premium
• C Shift: Sunday-Tuesday and every other Saturday (6:00pm-6:00am) 15% shift premium

Responsibilities

• Patrol premises regularly monitoring for unauthorized access safety hazards and suspicious behavior.
• Monitor security cameras and alarms maintaining attention to unusual activity and entry and exit points to prevent unauthorized access theft or vandalism.
• Inspect and maintain the functionality of all security and safety systems within the facility.
• Manage and enforce access control protocols including verifying employee and visitor identification.
• Respond quickly and effectively to security and safety incidents including medical emergencies fires and other potential hazards.
• Assist in the evacuation of personnel during emergencies following all established emergency protocols.
• Maintain detailed and accurate logs of daily activities incidents and irregularities such as equipment or property damage theft or unusual occurrences.
• Investigate incidents and prepare reports to document security breaches accidents alarms that result in E.R.T. activations or other significant events.
• Coordinate with the security team supervisors and department heads to develop and enforce security policies.
• Ensure compliance with all company policies procedures and applicable safety and security regulations. Participate in regular safety drills and training sessions.
• Provide back-up coverage for the main lobby including operating switchboard and greeting visitors.
• Create identification badges for employees vendors and contractors.

Qualifications :

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year experience in security ideally within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Valid Class C California Driverss license.
• Ability to obtain a valid California BSIS Guard Card.

Additional Information :

• This role will work on site in Roseville CA.
• Indefinite US work authorized individuals only. Future sponsorship for work authorization unavailable.

The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $20-25 hr. Within the range individual pay is determined based on several factors including but not limited to work experience and job knowledge complexity of the role job location etc. Your Recruiter can share more details about the specific salary range for this position during the interview process.
