Job Summary
What the Role Involves
- Safely operating Class 5 truck and trailer units across the South Island
- Working with onboard equipment to collect manage and transport liquid and hazardous waste
- Keeping accurate documentation manifests and safety records
- Completing daily vehicle checks and ensuring equipment is road-ready
- Upholding WM New Zealands leading safety culture - every trip every time
Qualifications :
What Youll Bring
- A full NZ Class 5 licence (truck & trailer experience is essential)
- DG license (Dangerous Goods) must hold or be able to obtain
- Extensive driving experience across South Island routes
- A strong safety mindset and proven reliability
- Physically fit and comfortable working both independently and as part of a wider team
- Knowledge of transport operations and compliance
