Job Summary
Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our cleaning this role you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of our facilities ensuring a comfortable and hygienic environment for our residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize bathrooms including fixtures tiles and mirrors.
- Dust and polish furnishings fixtures and ledges throughout the facility.
- Clean windows and mirrors to ensure streak-free clear surfaces.
- Maintain floor cleanliness through sweeping mopping and buffing as appropriate for different floor types.
- Vacuum shampoo and deodorize carpets according to established schedules and as needed.
- Clean walls and ceilings including removal of cobwebs and other debris.
- Apply appropriate cleaning solutions to remove dirt dust and grease from various surfaces.
- Empty trash receptacles dispose of waste properly and replace bin liners.
- Report any accidents incidents or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly.
- Organize and maintain cleanliness of storage areas for cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Perform additional cleaning tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications :
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 6 months to 1 year of professional cleaning experience required
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to follow detailed cleaning instructions and adhere to safety protocols
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks throughout a full shift
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
- Reliable and punctual with excellent time management skills
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team
- Experience working in facilities for older adults or retirement communities is highly preferred
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and safe use of cleaning chemicals
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays as needed
