Merchandiser, Women's Tops

We are seeking a Womens Merchant of Layers to manage the development & execution of the seasonal assortment. This individual will be responsible for executing the brand product strategy and helping to establish the Womens Layers assortment identifying new growth opportunities across all seasonal product classifications. To be effective in this role the individual must be an experienced Merchant whos passionate about the performance apparel space Vuoris mission and embody the brands values. 

This role is onsite 5 days a week in our Carlsbad CA HQ  

What youll get to do:

• Develop comprehensive assortment strategies across E-comm Store Wholesale and International channels to deliver high growth expectations 
• Maintain an understanding of the competitive landscape and impart key insights into line development 
• Build seasonal & annual line plan for all of Womens Layers (Sweatshirts and Sweaters) 
• Partner with planning team on seasonal investment strategy and monthly buy process  
• Prepare reports on business results and present actionable insights to senior leadership 
• Create and manage all seasonal assortment tools for Layers 
• Support the buying marketing and development product calendar for all channels 
• Partner with planning on in-season product performance and build data driven action plan based on results 
• Uphold brand price positioning and manage the pricing strategy for Womens Layers 
• Build seasonal Product Messaging plan in support of Marketings seasonal editorial calendar providing guidance on key seasonal product stories and commercialization plan  
• Create strong partnerships among cross-functional teams including Planning Allocation Design Product Development Marketing E-Commerce and Visual Merchandising 
• Create seasonal Product Knowledge info for stores and ecommerce merchandising teams 
• Act as cross departmental liaison creating a consistent flow of communication throughout the organization 

Qualifications :

Who you are:

• Bachelors degree 
• 3 years Merchandising experience 
• Activewear experience preferred 
• Strong eye for trend right product that aligns with the brand aesthetic 
• Experience delivering high growth at the brand or category level  
• Experience recapping business on a regular basis and presenting actionable insights to Sr. Leadership 
• Ability to travel domestically 
• Strong communication & collaboration skills 
• Experience using Excel Adobe Illustrator and PLM is a plus

The salary range for this role is $93400 per year - $120120 per year.
