Job Title: Oracle Fusion Cloud Payroll & Absence Management Consultant
Location: Newark NJ
Job Summary
Seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion Cloud Payroll & Absence Management Consultant to support the Payroll Department during the implementation of Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM. This role will focus on configuring testing and deploying Payroll and Absence Management modules ensuring alignment with business and compliance needs for a successful go-live. The consultant will collaborate closely with Payroll HR IT and implementation partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather and document payroll and absence management requirements.
- Configure and test Payroll and Absence Management modules (elements balances fast formulas absence plans accruals).
- Support data conversion migration reconciliation and integrations with third-party systems.
- Develop reports and analytics using OTBI BI Publisher and HCM Extracts.
- Assist with testing cycles (unit SIT UAT parallel runs) defect resolution and troubleshooting.
- Provide knowledge transfer training end-user support and documentation.
- Recommend process improvements and provide post-go-live support.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Information Systems HR Business Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- 5 years of hands-on experience with Oracle HCM Cloud Payroll and Absence Management modules.
- Strong knowledge of payroll processing taxation compliance fast formulas costing and absence accruals.
- Experience with integrations time/labor HCM Extracts and data validation/testing.
- Excellent analytical problem-solving communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Oracle Cloud HCM Certification (Payroll and Absence Management).
- Prior experience supporting a Payroll department through an HCM transition or upgrade.
- Proficiency in Oracle reporting tools (OTBI BI Publisher).
- Experience in a full lifecycle Oracle Cloud HCM implementation.
