Job Summary
Schedule and Salary:
Night shift: Monday to Thursday 5:30 PM to 5:30 AM
Starting wage: $25.44/hour increase to $26.07/hour after 3 months
Night shift premium: $2.00/hour
Responsibilities:
The Loader Operator is responsible for the continuous supply of raw materials required for production while ensuring safe and efficient management of aggregates on site.
Specifically the role includes:
Supplying production lines with aggregates based on operational needs
Feeding silos and storage areas using heavy equipment
Loading trucks with defective products (scrap) for disposal or recycling
Transporting sand to the heated plate during the winter period
Performing snow removal operations during winter to maintain safe working conditions
Receiving aggregate trucks directing them to the appropriate unloading areas and ensuring smooth operations
Verifying the conformity of received aggregates and moving them to designated storage areas
Complying with health and safety procedures as well as company quality standards
Conducting visual inspections of equipment and reporting any anomalies or maintenance needs
Qualifications :
Job Requirements
Recognized training in heavy equipment operation (loader) with a valid competency card
Minimum of five (5) years of experience as a loader operator
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and apply common sense
Strong focus on safety and professionalism
Work Environment
Industrial setting with exposure to moving machinery vibrations and loud noise
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift and/or move up to 22 kg (50 lbs)
Ability to stand reach climb and maintain balance for extended periods
Ability to perform physical tasks in an active work environment

This is a physically demanding position. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds (23kg). Manual dexterity teamwork hand-eye co-ordination and a combination of sitting standing and walking required.
