As a Production Planner you are responsible for developing optimizing and coordinating production schedules for our 4 main product groups to ensure timely delivery of these products while managing resources effectively. You ensure that the production process goes smoothly by making sure the production orders are correctly planned in SAP and all the raw materials are available on time for production. You actively monitor the feasibility of your production schedule and make the necessary adjustments. You continue to follow up the production process until the finished products are stored in the warehouse. Finally you will support the set-up and maintenance of Master Data of the production process.
Your responsibilities:
- Develop Production Schedules: Create and manage daily weekly and monthly production schedules based on sales forecasts and production capacity.
- Detailed scheduling: Schedule production orders based on customer demand to ensure timely delivery of products
- Resource Management: Coordinate with various departments (e.g. purchasing production and logistics) to ensure that all components are available for production.
- Inventory Control: Monitor inventory levels and manage the flow of materials to prevent shortages or excess stock ensuring efficient production operations.
- Monitor Production Progress: Track the progress of production activities and adjust schedules as necessary to meet deadlines and resolve any issues that arise.
- Reporting & Data Analysis: Analyze production data and compile reports on production progress inventory levels and any production problems to inform stakeholders.
- Collaboration: Work closely with production supervisors and other stakeholders to align production plans with business objectives and customer requirements.
- Continuous Improvement: Use data analysis and insights to improve the planning and production processes
- Actively manage SAP data so that the systems always show the correct information to all departments involved in the production process.
Qualifications :
- You have a bachelors or masters degree in economics (or related) or equivalent through experience
- You have min. 2 years of experience in production planning/scheduling
- You have an interest / affinity in working in a technical environment
- You are analytically and numerically strong
- Experience with SAP is a plus
- You have a fluent knowledge of MS Office programs especially Excel is important
- You are communicative and enjoy working in a team
- In addition to Dutch you have a fluent knowledge of English (spoken and written)
