Our client a dynamic and rapidly growing technology company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced DevOps Manager to join their team in Kuala Lumpur. Job Description: As the DevOps Manager you will be responsible for overseeing the development deployment and maintenance of the companys software applications on the AWS platform. You will work closely with the development and operations teams to ensure efficient and effective delivery of products and services. Your role will also involve managing and optimizing the companys Kubernetes infrastructure. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and manage a team of DevOps engineers providing guidance coaching and support to ensure successful delivery of projects - Design implement and maintain the companys AWS infrastructure ensuring high availability scalability and security - Manage and optimize the companys Kubernetes cluster including deployment monitoring and troubleshooting - Collaborate with development and operations teams to improve and automate processes for software delivery and infrastructure management - Monitor system performance and identify areas for improvement implementing solutions to enhance efficiency and reliability - Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices implementing new technologies and tools to improve the companys DevOps practices - Develop and maintain documentation for infrastructure and processes to ensure consistency and knowledge sharing within the team Requirements: - Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field - Minimum of 5 years of experience in DevOps with at least 2 years in a managerial role - Strong experience with AWS including EC2 S3 RDS and CloudFormation - Proficiency in Kubernetes with experience in managing and optimizing clusters - Experience with automation and configuration management tools such as Ansible Puppet or Chef - Strong understanding of software development processes and methodologies - Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams - Proven track record of managing and delivering multiple projects simultaneously - AWS and Kubernetes certifications are a plus Contract Details: This is a full-time permanent position with competitive salary and benefits package.
