Job Summary:
The Maintenance & Support Coordinator for PAGA (Public Address and General Alarm) Systems is responsible for overseeing the operation maintenance troubleshooting and support of PAGA systems across oil and gas installations. This role ensures optimal system performance and compliance with safety and communication standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities for PAGA systems across all designated locations (onshore and offshore).
Monitor system health and ensure uninterrupted operation of emergency communication systems.
Schedule regular system inspections and ensure timely servicing in line with OEM recommendations.
Liaise with OEMs vendors and contractors for technical support spare parts and upgrades.
Maintain records of system faults repairs and maintenance activities using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
Ensure compliance with HSE and industry standards for all communication systems.
Provide technical guidance to technicians and ensure proper troubleshooting procedures are followed.
Assist in preparing maintenance budgets spare part forecasts and technical reports.
Support integration and testing of PAGA systems during commissioning and modifications.
Conduct or coordinate training sessions for end-users and technical teams.
Requirements:
Education & Certifications:
Diploma or Bachelor s degree in Electronics Telecommunications Instrumentation or related field.
OEM Certification in PAGA systems (e.g. GAI-Tronics Bosch Zenitel Ateis etc.) is an advantage.
Experience:
Minimum 5 years of experience in maintenance/support roles in Oil & Gas or similar industries.
Proven experience in managing PAGA or similar communication systems (installation configuration testing and troubleshooting).
Skills:
Strong knowledge of emergency communication systems.
Familiarity with hazardous area equipment and ATEX-rated components.
Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings wiring diagrams and schematics.
Ability to work under pressure in high-risk environments (onshore/offshore).
Good communication and coordination skills.
Working Conditions:
May involve offshore trips shift work or on-call duties as required.
Compliance with safety protocols and use of PPE is mandatory.
