We are currently seeking afull-time Travel Day Licensed Practical Nurseto join ourCenturion Eagles Travel TeamatBig Muddy Correctional Center in Ina IL.Our travelers have opportunities throughout the country and are full-time benefit-eligible Centurion employees.

TheEagle (Travel team) LPNwill work between various facilities/locations throughout the state of Illinois per contract needs. Each assignment will be restricted to one location.The LPNis responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients while working under the direction of Registered Nurses (RN) and medical and psychiatric staff to respond to a range of physical and behavioral health needs.

Qualifications

Licensed LPN with an active license to practice in Illinois
Minimum of one year of work experience as an LPN in a community outpatient clinic hospital or long-term care facility preferred
Corrections experience preferred
Previous travel nursing experience preferred
Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/ BLS
Ability to obtain a security clearance to include drug screen and criminal background check
