Alstom has openings for interns in its West Mifflin PA locations in various functions.
Responsibilities:
Specific activities will vary by assignment but can include:
- Responsibility for cross-funtional project assignments research and analysis
- Conducting special studies in conjunction with a project analyzing data and making recommendations based upon studies
- Documentation and testing
- Drafting and delivering presentations
Qualifications:
Wide ranges of majors will be considered based on specific needs of departments such as:
- Industrial Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
- Manufacturing Engineering
- Aerospace Engineering
- Engineering
- The ability to work individually as well as contribute to a team project
- An aptitude and passion for solving complex technical problems according to assignment function
- Strong written verbal analytical Excel and interpersonal skills required
Desired Characteristics:
- Must display maturity and a high level of professionalism
- Strong computer skills to include proficiency with Microsoft Office Sharepoint and Power BI
- Demonstrated accountability in assignment completion
- Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and proactively take on new assignments and challenges
