Summary
Position Summary
Provides leadership and direction for Sleep Lab and the DME teams. Collaborates with the management team medical director(s) and medical staff to ensure quality patient care delivery. Directs and manages the staff departmental budgets and overall operations to meet hospital strategic goals.
Essential Duties
- Manages and develops an effective staff: providing effective communication leadership guidance and resources. Determines staff qualifications and competency:recruits interviews selects hires trains orients mentors evaluates coaches counsels disciplines and rewards. Establishes and monitors staff safety and regulatory compliance.
- Collaborates with the staff medical director(s) of each service area and the multidisciplinary healthcare team to develop and provide a quality cost-effective patient care delivery system that is consistent with national standards and guidelines.
- Monitors specified cost institutions including personnel capital space and operational expenses to meet goals and objectives. Works with the Executive Director to prepare annual capital and operational budgets. Serves as a resource to assure the Sleep Lab and DME are in compliance as required by regulatory entities including; State Federal AASM Joint Commission and other related agencies as required.
- Oversees formulation of policies and procedures staff orientation utilization of institutional information systems and the competency program for areas of responsibility.
- Collaborates with the Medical Director(s) and physician staff on clinical research activities. Supports research projects that will contribute to patient care standards staff development and the mission of the institution.

Minimum Qualifications
- Education: Associates degree required. Bachelors preferred.
- Work Experience: A minimum of 3 years of management or leadership experience required. Experience must include previous leadership in healthcare. Experience in Sleep Services preferred.

Salary Range: $89208.44 - $117978.17
