Role Description:
Arcadis India is hiring a Graduate Urban Planner to support strategic planning policy-led development and spatial frameworks across regional city and precinct scales for our Architecture and Urbanism (AU) practice. This role focuses on analytical regulatory and implementation-oriented planning to enable resilient inclusive and economically viable urban development.

Location:

  • Gurgaon

Role Accountabilities:

  • Support preparation of statutory and non-statutory planning documents including master plans development plans zoning frameworks and local area plans.
  • Undertake spatial analysis demographic studies land use assessments and infrastructure capacity evaluations.
  • Interpret planning regulations development control norms and policy frameworks to inform planning strategies.
  • Coordinate with urban designers architects transport planners economists and sustainability specialists to ensure integrated planning outcomes.
  • Assist in stakeholder consultations public engagement sessions and inter-agency coordination.
  • Contribute to planning reports phasing strategies implementation frameworks and feasibility inputs.
  • Support bids competitions and research related to urban policy growth management and city systems.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Masters degree in Urban Planning / Regional Planning / City Planning with 01 years of experience.
  • Proficiency in GIS tools (ArcGIS/QGIS) AutoCAD and MS Office; familiarity with data analysis tools is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical research and report-writing skills.
  • Understanding of Indian planning systems statutory processes and urban development mechanisms is desirable.
  • Experience working in multi-disciplinary teams and public-sector planning projects is an advantage.
