A Banquet Coordinator with Conrad Hotels and Resorts will provide administrative and secretarial support to the Banquet Department. Playing an integral role in the arrangement and administration of the casual labour matters and also assisting in banquet operations on a need basis.
What will I be doing
As a Banquet Coordinator you will be responsible for the overall communication and coordination of activities in Banquet. You will be in charge of dissemination of information to the department and oversee the arrangement and administration of casual labour matters. Specifically a Banquet Coordinator will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Managing the administrative tasks in the department
- Distribution of 14 days forecast planning and to solicit the services of casual staff
- Handling casual labour requisitions and matters
- Assist in interview and selection process of casual staff
- Scheduling of casual staff work allocation and to perform follow up/check on latecomers or absentees and find replacement when necessary
- Ensuring the grooming of casual staff adheres to hotel standards
- Prepare event food tags according to Banquet Event Order requirements
- Work closely with the superiors to ensure consistent delivery of high standards of service
- Attending to guests comments and handling feedback professionally
- Perform any last minute instructions by the Director/ Assistant Director of Banquet/ Senior Banquet Operations Manager
- Consolidate daily manager sale book and report for the Director of Banquet
- To carry out any other duties as and when required by supervisors

- Previous experience handling and working in an administrative role or equivalent

- Willing to work long hours and work under extreme pressure
