We are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer with 35 years of experience in antenna or RF-related mechanical design to join our growing engineering team. The role focuses on the design development and validation of antenna systems and associated mechanical structures for high-reliability defence and/or automotive applications.

Duties & Responsibilities

You will work closely with RF electrical and manufacturing teams to deliver robust production-ready designs that meet demanding environmental and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Mechanical design and development of antenna systems and enclosures
Create 3D models assemblies and detailed drawings using CAD tools
Perform tolerance analysis material selection and thermal/mechanical considerations
Support DFMEA design reviews and design validation testing
Ensure that designs meet environmental vibration shock and ingress protection requirements
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (RF electronics manufacturing and suppliers)
Support prototype builds and transition to series production
