Due to continued growth we are seeking a Graphic Designer (entry to intermediate level) to join our marketing team based at our Tauranga headquarters. Reporting to the Customer Engagement Manager you will work alongside other designers and marketers to produce high-quality marketing collateral for New Zealand and international markets.
YOUR ROLE
You will be responsible for producing accurate on-brand marketing collateral that supports Trimaxs global marketing and sales activity. This role suits a designer who takes strong ownership of their work and has high personal standards for quality accuracy and follow-through.
- Produce marketing materials including eDMs brochures catalogues sales flyers social media assets and digital advertising.
- Edit and adapt existing designs for print web and digital formats often to tight deadlines.
- Support global marketing coordinators and social media managers with timely delivery of assets.
- Develop an understanding of Trimax products customers and markets to make sound design and image selection decisions.
- Ensure all work follows Trimax brand guidelines and visual standards.
- Manage multiple tasks and priorities keeping stakeholders informed of timelines and progress.
- Maintain accurate file naming version control and tidy digital asset management.

- Ability to manage multiple jobs without work slipping or requiring repeated follow-ups.
- A willingness to learn develop new skills and use modern tools (including AI) to improve efficiency.
- A collaborative team player who contributes positively to team outcomes.
TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS ROLE
- Fluency in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign Photoshop Illustrator).
- A portfolio demonstrating solid design fundamentals and print/digital execution.
- Understanding of brand identity systems and corporate design.
- Ability to follow briefs and instructions accurately.
- Confidence to ask questions when requirements are unclear.
- Previous experience in a similar role with the ability to contribute effectively from day one.
This role offers between 2030 hours per week. While the exact hours are negotiable during recruitment they will be confirmed on appointment and remain consistent week-to-week. Ideally hours are spread across 4-5 days. As the role supports international markets some flexibility outside standard working hours may be required.
