The Atrium Health Neurosciences Institute is seeking a qualified Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) to join our rapidly growing healthcare system located in the Charlotte area. We invite APPs who possess an authentic compassion for patients and a team-focused attitude to apply to join our inpatient neurology service at Atrium Health Cabarrus in Concord NC.
At least 2 years of experience as APP is Neurology experience is preferred but not required.
Position Details
- Join a well-established inpatient consulting service with two other APPs and 12 neurohospitalist physicians.
- Provide neurologic care in a collaborative environment on a well-established inpatient neurology team. Excellent reputation and known for superior patient care.
- Full-time position
- Inpatient-only 10-hour shifts (7am 5pm)
- Weekday and weekend shifts
- Potentially 7 on / 7 off scheduling but also open to variable scheduling (several consecutive work days followed by several consecutive days off)
- Staffing model comprised of 2 physicians and 1-2 APPs
- Approximately15 patients per day
- No hospital call
- Open ICU
