This is a Lead Software Engineer position at Vice President level which is part of the job family responsible that develops and maintains software solutions that support business needs..

What youll do in the role:

• Communicate regularly with product leads across the technology organization and discuss opportunities for improvement to existing and future technology solutions.

• Develop and architect innovative solutions to enhance a high-performance file transfer data gateway

• Provide technical leadership and vision for software development project roadmap

• Define technical architecture and roadmap for large-scale mission-critical systems.

• Foster a culture of innovation collaboration and continuous learning within the team.

• Oversee the execution of software development projects ensuring quality and on-time delivery.

• Drive projects to optimize system performance scalability and reliability

• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to align technology solutions with business objectives.

• Analyze product performance data to drive continuous improvement.

What youll bring to the role:

• At least 6 years relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role.

• Strong hands-on experience in building large-scale and high-performance web application using Python or Java.

• Strong hands-on experience with full-stack web technologies spanning client-side server-side and infrastructure components including web/application servers load balancing database caching strategies compression security implementation and file transfer over web.

• Experience in designing developing and managing file transfer services for large-scale enterprise solutions

• Ability to effectively manage multiple functions or guide junior staff and initiatives.

• Proven track record of leading high-performance engineering teams

• Ability to align technology initiatives with business objectives

• Collaboration with cross-functional teams and senior leadership

• Strong people management skills and fostering a collaborative team culture is a plus

• Working knowledge of C#/.NET is a plus
