Join the dynamic operations team at Chase Field home of the Arizona Diamondbacks as a Warehouse this role you will play a vital part in maintaining efficient warehouse operations to support the various needs of the stadium.
- Supervisor Warehouse Attendants oversee warehouse daily tasks and delegation.
- Reads production schedule customer order work order shipping order or requisition to determine items to be moved gathered or distributed.
- Conveys materials from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated areas.
- Places materials/goods on racks shelves and bins or in refrigerated rooms according to predetermined sequence such as size type style color or product code.
- Fills requisitions work orders or requests for materials tools or other stock items and distributes items to production workers or assembly line.
- Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves; conveys orders to packing station or shipping department.
- Marks materials with identifying information; Maintains inventory records.
- Records number of materials or items received or distributed.
- Weighs or counts items for distribution within stadium to ensure conformance to company standards.
- Arranges stock parts in specified sequence for assembly by other workers.
- Use computer to enter inventory counts
- Compiles worksheets or tickets from customer specifications.
- Drives vehicle to transport stored items or to pick up items.
- ompletes requisition forms to order supplies from other departments.
- Thoroughly and accurately uses Levy Purchasing systems
- Thoroughly completes all warehouse set-up and breakdown responsibilities
- Employs good safety and sanitation practices
- Practices proper product control and handling of all inventory and equipment
- Use proper lifting techniques
- Adheres to Levy Restaurants Company guidelines as stated in team member training manual and employee handbook
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Skills:
- Excellent customer service skills; ability to interact professionally and effectively.
- Strong leadership communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to operate Microsoft Office programs and basic computer skills.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations best practices and sanitation requirements.
- This position may require the following valid certifications; Maricopa County approved Food Handler certification.
- Flexibility to work evenings weekends and holidays as required for stadium events.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in the restaurant and/or sports entertainment industry
- Shipping and receiving experience preferred
- 2 years experience in supervisory role preferred
Physical demands:
- Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods ranging 6-12 hours during events or as required by operational demands.
- Must be able to perform physical tasks including walking standing ascending/descending stairs as necessary.
- Exposure to heat steam and cold temperatures within the kitchen/warehouse environment.
- Ability to lift push pull and carry up to 60 lbs.
- Ability to bend stoop and kneel as needed.
