CNET (Centre for New Energy Technologies) the EDP Groups Research & Development (R&D) center is reinforcing its Client Solutions R&D team through the recruitment of a R&D Project Engineer - European Programs.

What you will do:

  • Support to the management of R&D projects within European funding programmes (Horizon Europe / H2020).
  • Execution of research activities in the Client Solutions R&D domain including technical analysis concept development and evaluation of innovative solutions.
  • Contribution to the drafting design and preparation of proposals for European calls.
  • Support to cross-functional team activities including documentation preparation reporting partner coordination and/or dissemination activities.

What are we looking for:

  • Masters degree in electrical engineering energy area etc.
  • Previous experience with projects funded by the European Commission (Horizon Europe / H2020) is highly valued.
  • Knowledge (professional or academic) in the focus areas of EDP R&D Client Solutions is also considered an asset namely:
    • Industrial heat electrification;
    • Autonomous and AI-based solutions for Distributed Energy Resources (DER);
    • Advanced Energy Management Systems (Advanced EMS) for B2B;
    • Emerging decentralized renewable technologies;
    • Technologies for the integration of energy communities.
  • Proficiency in English is mandatory (minimum B2 level).
