CNET (Centre for New Energy Technologies) the EDP Groups Research & Development (R&D) center is reinforcing its Client Solutions R&D team through the recruitment of a R&D Project Engineer - European Programs.
What you will do:
- Support to the management of R&D projects within European funding programmes (Horizon Europe / H2020).
- Execution of research activities in the Client Solutions R&D domain including technical analysis concept development and evaluation of innovative solutions.
- Contribution to the drafting design and preparation of proposals for European calls.
- Support to cross-functional team activities including documentation preparation reporting partner coordination and/or dissemination activities.

What are we looking for:
- Masters degree in electrical engineering energy area etc.
- Previous experience with projects funded by the European Commission (Horizon Europe / H2020) is highly valued.
- Knowledge (professional or academic) in the focus areas of EDP R&D Client Solutions is also considered an asset namely:
- Industrial heat electrification;
- Autonomous and AI-based solutions for Distributed Energy Resources (DER);
- Advanced Energy Management Systems (Advanced EMS) for B2B;
- Emerging decentralized renewable technologies;
- Technologies for the integration of energy communities.
- Proficiency in English is mandatory (minimum B2 level).
