Where You Will Work:

Are you on the lookout for a fast-paced and rewarding nursing environment If so we have an exciting opportunity for you! Our 30-bed unit specializes in the care of pre- and post-operative cardiac patients. We deal with patients undergoing various procedures such as heart catheterization pacemaker insertion TAVR cardioversion and ablations. Its important to note that we dont perform these procedures ourselves but rather provide comprehensive care before and after them.

In addition to our focus on cardiac care we also provide care for a diverse mix of medical-surgical and orthopedic patients. This makes our unit an enriching environment for nurses eager to broaden their skill set. Our team is wholeheartedly dedicated to collaborative patient-centered care working closely with surgeons therapists and multidisciplinary teams.

We place a strong emphasis on pain management mobility and post-surgical recovery making our unit a unique place for professional growth. Our team works closely and collaboratively with teamwork being our ultimate goal.

Were Looking For:

  • Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
  • Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
  • BLS for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
  • ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association required/expected within 6 months of hire date.
  • Cardiac/critical care experience preferred

What Youll Do:

  • As a skilled and compassionate RN you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe therapeutic care in accordance with established standards policies and procedures.
  • Using evidence-based practice clinical decision making compassion and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.

Atrium Health Navicent- The Medical Center is a nationally recognized academic medical center nationally-verified Level 1 Trauma Center Magnet hospital for nursing and serves a service area of 30 counties and a population of nearly 750000 persons. MCNH has over 4500 employees and a medical staff of approximately 700 physicians. As the second largest hospital in Georgia it is licensed for 637 beds including pediatrics medical surgical trauma and cardiac surgery. The Atrium Health Navicent Emergency Department with helipad capability and three urgent care centers treats over 140000 visitors per year. MCNH provides a broad range of community-based outpatient diagnostic primary care wellness and comprehensive rehabilitation services.
