Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Oncology Infusion Nurse to join our team on a full-time permanent this role you will be responsible for administering chemotherapy and other infusion treatments to patients with cancer and other related diseases. You will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide personalized care and support to patients throughout their treatment journey.

Key Responsibilities:

- Administer chemotherapy and other infusion treatments to patients according to established protocols and physician orders

- Monitor and assess patients responses to treatments report any adverse reactions or changes in condition to the physician

- Educate patients and their families on the treatment plan potential side effects and self-care measures

- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients

- Ensure accurate documentation of all treatments medications and patient responses

- Maintain a safe and clean working environment adhering to infection control and safety protocols

- Stay current with advances in oncology treatments and participate in ongoing education and training opportunities

Qualifications:

- Active RN license in the state of practice

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in oncology nursing preferably in an infusion setting

- Current BLS certification

- Chemotherapy and Biotherapy certification (ONS/APHON) preferred

- Strong knowledge of oncology treatments and medications

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills

- Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards patients and their families
