Position DetailAre you seeking a career where yourexpertisetruly matters-and where your well-being is just as important as your patients UP Health System - Portage invites Board Certified Advanced Practice Providers to join our Emergency Medicine team in Hancock MI nestled in the heart of Michigans stunning Upper Peninsula.
NP/PA to be considered
216 8-hour night shifts per year (Mon-Fri 1pm to 9pm)
Join a collegial and supportive team of 5 employed ED physicians
ACS-verified Level III trauma center with an average annual census of around 10000 patients
Support Systems:
ATLS certification
ED physicians provide basic admin orders for hospitalists from 5pm to 7am
Hospital EMR: Meditech Magic
Digital radiology point-of-care ultrasound 24/7 on-site CT MRI available Mon-Fri 8am to 5pm
Nurse triage process
Telehealth psychiatrist assistance for psychiatric consultations
11 beds inclusive of 8 private rooms and 3 trauma bay beds
