We have Okuma Lathes running with sub-spindle live tooling and bar feeders.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for in process inspection (utilizing calipers micrometers)
- Responsible for making adjustments to offsets and program as needed to maintain tolerances.
- Must be able to work off of blueprints
- Must be able to accurately use shop math in checking parts.
- Perform basic maintenance to the machines (clean and maintain no mechanical repairs - weekly and monthly coolant maintenance)
- You will be expected to help around the shop with deburring tapping etc as needed to keep parts moving.
- Maintain all paperwork associated with producing the part and maintaining company records.
- Observe safety policies and procedures and operate in a safe manner.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years experience operating CNC Lathes.
- Experience with CNC Okuma a plus.
- Working knowledge of Algebra Geometry and can do metric to imperial conversions.
- General knowledge of G-code and M-code.
- Fluent in GD&T and machining blueprint reading.
- Skilled in part inspection and accountable to quality of parts.
- OSHA 10-hour preferred.
Physical Demands:
Must have ability to select lift carry and stack products weighing between 30 & 50 pounds. The ability to stand up while occasionally bending stooping twisting and do repetitive work for 2 to 4 hours at a time.
Stations have anti-fatigue mats and stools available when needed.
