Job Title: Biologist (Aquatic Plants / Biomass Systems) - Internship

Location: Bali Indonesia (On-site only)

Compensation: Unpaid Internship (with potential for full-time transition)

Role Overview

Join Zero-X in Bali to be part of our global expansion in commercial execution EU funding and deep-tech R&D. We need a biologist to optimize growth conditions and yield for scalable production of duckweed-based products in biotech and cosmetics. This role is essential for our long-term R&D strategy. This role offers significant international exposure working with a diverse team on projects with a global footprint. This is an unpaid internship with the potential for a full-time role based on performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Optimize growth conditions and yield for duckweed
  • Design and validate biological experiments
  • Link biology to scalable production
  • Experiment with different growing conditions
  • Test and validate biological production processes
  • Work closely with the production team to scale findings

Role-relevant Skills

  • Detail-Oriented: You carefully observe measure and document variables to ensure reliable reproducible biological results.
