About the Role
Ward 6D is a 30-bed ward that cares for acute medical patients focusing on geriatric care. The successful candidate will work within a supportive team of dedicated nurses and a multidisciplinary group providing quality evidence-based care. We support continuing education for all staff through our education department and have clinical nurse educators on the ward.
As an experienced nurse you will bring to our team:
Registered Nurse with AHPRA
Bachelor of Science (Nursing) or equivalent
A minimum of 1 to 2 years experience in an acute hospital setting is essential
Sound clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills
Highly developed interpersonal skills proactive motivated and patient-focused
Clinical expertise and commitment to high-quality patient care and continuous improvement
Self-motivated with a proven ability to work as part of a high-functioning team
A passion for delivering quality patient-centred care
Flexibility with shift allocations and a commitment to working a rotating roster. We offer 12-hour shifts!

If you succeed in the role your salary will be determined by your years of relevant registered nursing experience in accordance with the current Healthscope and NSWNMA/ANMF NSW Nurses and Midwives Enterprise Agreement 2024 ranging from $41.21 - $54.89 per hour.
