Why the Volvo Cars Graduate Programme

During 18 months youll rotate through Engineering Manufacturing and Commercial functions working hands-on with impactful projects and global teams. Youll discover different roles stretch your skills and explore new ways to grow learn and challenge yourself.

Youll be part of a collaborative inclusive community of graduates. With cross-functional rotations targeted learning modules and mentorship from executive leaders youll develop the leadership skills and confidence to drive innovation across Volvo Cars.


In 2026 we welcome 15 graduates to our Headquarters in Gothenburg Sweden. Together you will be part of module weeks group projects and shared learning experiences. After the programme youll move into a permanent role aligned with your strengths and ambitions as well as our business needs.

Do you have what it takes

To be considered for the program you must have a masters degree within any engineering or business area. Your masters degree must be completed between December 2024 and the start of the programme which is August 31 2026.

Our selection process.

  • Applications open: January 22 March 1 2026.
  • Video screening interview
  • Psychometric assessments. Deadline is March 9.
  • Interviews:

    1. Behavioral & Functional interview with hiring manager and Talent Acquisition Partner
    2. Case interview with hiring manager and HR Representative
    3. Interview with hiring manager and your future mentor

As part of the recruitment process the final candidates might undergo a background check.
The recruitment process is expected to be completed by midMay.



Taira will collect the information you submit and invite you to a short guided chat and video interview with the bot. During the interview Taira will ask questions related to the position you have applied for. You can start the interview at your convenience pause it and resume it later. Make sure you have a working camera and microphone ready before you begin. You are also welcome to ask Taira questions during the interview.
