Position Role Provide military expertise and experience to support project delivery of Military Policy Optimisation
The successful applicant will be assigned to the Military Policy Optimisation team but may work across the range of sub-teams within People Transformation PCD.
Responsibilities
The role includes although is not limited to:
- Provide Military Policy & Process expertise and experience to support delivery of the Policy Optimisation Programme.
- Lead the delivery of distinct project or significant work strands that link to wider stakeholder areas. This post will mainly engage Policy and Process teams in Centre and in the sSs Def HRS Civilian HR and Digital teams.
- Engage in AI development and introduction into PCD and the wider Transformation team. Take proactive action to test and advise on how AI impacts Policy and associated process.
- Direct and collaborate with any assigned External assistance relating to product delivery.
- Undertake the role of a Product Owner/Developer within an Agile environment.
- Engage and if required negotiate with all colleagues SMEs and Defence/sS stakeholders who have a legitimate interest in transformation outcome.
- Gather and analyse data and/or information drawing on relevant SMEs to test new concepts and derive practical future interventions in relation to the development of future Policy and Process.
- Deliver a range of credible and actionable evidence-based policy options and strategies upon which Senior Boards/personnel can make decisions.
Accountability:
This isaccountable to the SO1 Delivery Manager Deputy Head Military Policy Optimisation s the Second Reporting Officer.
