Make an Impact by
- Identifying designing and developing automation workflows that increase efficiency accuracy and scalability of SOC processes.
- Working closely with SOC analysts and platform engineers to identify repetitive tasks optimize workflows and implement automation through scripting and integrations.
- Participating in testing documenting and troubleshooting automation workflows to ensure reliability within the SOC environment.
- Gaining exposure to a wide range of security technologies including SIEM platforms endpoint protection tools and threat intelligence services.
- Learning how these tools interact and how automation can streamline data flow and actions across them.
Skills for Success
- A degree in Computer Science Cybersecurity Information Technology or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of scripting languages (e.g. Python PowerShell) and automation concepts.
- Interest in security operations and process optimization.
- Strong problem-solving skills and curiosity to explore innovative solutions.
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Eagerness to learn and grow in cybersecurity automation and SOC operations.
