Aged Care Registered Nurse - Permanent Full-Time
We are seeking an experienced Aged Care Registered Nurse to join a residential aged care facility in Scottsdale Tasmania.
This is a permanent full-time position offering stability professional development and strong organisational support. Relocation assistance and visa sponsorship may be provided for the right candidate (in Australia).
As a Registered Nurse you will provide high-quality nursing care involving residents their families and the wider community to enable residents to celebrate life at every stage within their home locality whilst supportinga team of care workers contributing to optimal resident outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality person-centred nursing care within scope of practice.
- Supervise and support care and support workers.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to achieve holistic care outcomes.
- Engage residents and their families in care planning and decision-making.
- Maintain accurate timely and compliant clinical documentation.
- Contribute to a positive values-driven workplace culture.
- For specific roles: support residents in sub-acute and emergency care or undertake training in these areas.
Skills & Experience:
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
- Minimum 3 years aged care nursing experience as an RN.
- Aged care or rural/remote nursing experience highly regarded.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong documentation and clinical record-keeping abilities.
