Key Responsibilities:
Maintains a deep understanding of the working knowledge of the CL organization and business systems in which they support
Works with business leaders and IT to assess current capabilities and create quality requirements using the solutions appropriate for both the agent and business
Analyze complex statutory regulatory and industry issues that affect commercial lines
Review and understand company data to monitor performance trends and identify emerging issues
Independently research provide recommendations test and implement solutions to complex technical or product problems or procedures Initiate and test procedural and system changes
Lead and facilitates requirements gathering and filings that result from new initiatives. This includes peer review on requirements and filings of others
Support the filing process for respective projects and assignments
Participate in company-wide projects as Subject Matter Expert (SME) and will act as product owner for both traditional or agile software development life cycle projects
Collaborate with others to develop strategies and best practices for successful project implementation
Support continuous improvement by gathering and incorporating successes and lessons learned into best practices and future enhancements
Builds strong relationships and trust with stakeholders and acts as liaison conveying needs/constraints to appropriate partners. Incorporates business vision into successful completion of corporate objectives.
Research and analyze competitor information and industry trends on products guidelines rules and procedures and report findings with recommendations
Lead and attend meetings as department liaison with regard to coverage procedural and system issue. Communicate appropriate and timely status updates to management and business teams Support management with vendor relationships by reviewing contracts/addendums and keeping progress on track.
May be a point person for specific assigned vendor or vendors.
Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to collaborate with stakeholders of all types across the company
Communicates difficult or sensitive information Leads and mentors team members by being a vocal leader in support of CL initiative deliverables
Conducts themselves with transparency and manages own development
Key Requirements:
Bachelors Degree
4 plus years of experience with commercial lines as an underwriter product analyst business analyst or other relevant experience.
Effective and diplomatic communication skills.
High level of attention to detail.
Strong analysis skills and problem solving ability.
Strong technical knowledge of commercial lines products and procedures.
Our current reasonable and good faith estimate of the annual salary wage range for this position is approximately $76700 to $100000 based on a variety of factors including but not limited to relevant skills and experience educational background and certifications performance and qualifications market demand for the role and other organizational needs.
