Shuttleworth in Huntington Indiana is seeking an Application Engineer to join our Engineering this role you will be handling request for quotations (RFQ) generating CAD drawings writing descriptions of operation and preparing written quotations for the customer sales support and project coordination.

Does this work interest you

• Generate Drawings - AutoCAD and Inventor to create a line layout.
• Apply a price to the above-mentioned line layout using a custom Excel template.
• Generate a Word Doc Proposal/Quotation via automated export from Excel template.
• Support the Sales effort (pre-and-post quote) via video conference calls and in person Customer site visits. Assist Sales with internal Customer visits.
• Engage with Project Management Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Engineering throughout the build cycle.

• Associate degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; no previous experience required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Highly organized and detail-oriented
• Strong customer/people skills
• Creative analytical and driven
• Thrives in a fast-paced work environment multi-tasking required
• Enjoys complex problem solving and collaboration - Proficient in mathematics
• Self-motivated
• Overnight travel approximately 5%-10%
• Basic computer skills AutoCAD Inventor Excel Word PowerPoint
