Position Summary
Aim High is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Individual Giving Manager to serve as a front-line fundraiser and key member of the Development Team. This role leads the organizations individual giving program and is responsible for raising approximately $2M annually from individual donors. The Individual Giving Manager oversees annual giving manages a portfolio of donors and prospects conducts prospecting project-manages major gift activity for the VP of Development and CEO owns the planning and execution of the annual appeal designs and executes effective stewardship strategies produces successful fundraising events and collaborates on donor-focused marketing and communications. Reporting to the VP of Development this role plays a critical part in strengthening donor relationships and building a culture of philanthropy across the organization.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Donor Stewardship and Cultivation
- In partnership with the VP of Development lead efforts to raise $2M annually from individual donors strategically leveraging the Chief Executive Officer Board of Trustees and Ambassador Council as appropriate.
- Manage and grow a portfolio of individual donors and prospects with a focus on securing gifts and pledges of $1000 and above.
- Serve as a front-line fundraiser by cultivating soliciting and stewarding donors through personalized outreach meetings and engagement opportunities.
- Collaborate with the VP of Development to engage Board members and key advocates in peer identification cultivation and solicitation.
- Design and implement thoughtful stewardship strategies to deepen donor engagement retention and long-term giving.
- Develop annual and multi-year growth plans for individual giving and assess the effectiveness of fundraising strategies through clear data-driven reporting.
- Contribute to a strong culture of philanthropy and foster collaborative cross-departmental relationships to advance shared organizational goals.
Individual Giving and Annual Fund
- Develop and implement strategies to diversify revenue and grow philanthropic support from individual donors at all giving levels.
- Lead the organizations annual giving program including direct mail appeals (e.g. winter and spring campaigns) online fundraising and donor acquisition efforts.
- Create and execute comprehensive annual plans for donor acquisition cultivation solicitation and stewardship in collaboration with the VP of Development.
- Produce compelling donor-centered content for appeals newsletters direct mail annual reports and digital and social media campaigns.
- Support the planning and execution of donor-focused fundraising events ensuring strong donor engagement and return on investment.
Donor Data and Fundraising Operations
- Maintain accurate and timely donor records ensuring proper acknowledgment stewardship and reporting of all gifts.
- Maintain meticulous digital records in Salesforce and Google Suite of individual funders track key relationship touchpoints milestones and gift related details.
- Analyze donor data in Salesforce to inform strategy track performance and identify opportunities for growth.
- Conduct prospect research and wealth screening to strengthen the donor pipeline.
Other duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of nonprofit fundraising experience with leadership in individual giving events or both
- Experience managing funder relationships and stewarding long-term philanthropic partnerships
- Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRMs preferred
- Proven ability to craft and execute successful fundraising strategies with clear results
- Experience managing staff or consultants with strong team-building and project management skills
- Excellent writing editing and communication skills
- Strong collaboration skills particularly across departments and with fundraising colleagues

Job Details:

- Classification: Full-Time (40 hours per week); Exempt from overtime
- Benefits: 100% employer-paid health insurance (medical/dental/vision) for employees retirement match and generous paid time off including a winter closure
- Salary Range: $90000 - $120000/year
- Priority Deadline: February 13 2026
- Target Start Date: Mid-April/Early May 2026
