About the Position:
The Precision Ag Internship is a hands-on immersive learning experience designed for students who want real-world exposure to modern precision agriculture at the dealership level. This is not a job-shadow-only role. You will actively contribute to projects work directly with customers and internal teams and gain practical experience with cutting-edge ag technology used by growers today. Interns will rotate through key areas of the Precision Ag & Sales Departments with opportunities to specialize based on interests and performance. Experiences may include data management field support operations and agronomy-driven technology solutions.
Locations: Harvey Stanley Williston Dickinson Rugby Minot
Department: Precision Agriculture
Reports to: Director of Precision Ag
Duration: 12-14 weeks (Summer Internship)
Schedule: Seasonal 40 hours/week
Compensation: $20/hour
Responsibilities:
- Assist with real Precision Ag projects that support customers and dealership operations
- Support data management tasks such as setup organization and seasonal data workflows
- Participate in field support activities including equipment setup calibration and basic troubleshooting
- Shadow and assist Precision Ag Specialists Sales and Agronomy-related roles
- Participate in internal and external training related to Precision Ag technology and agronomic practices
- Assist with customer clinics demonstrations and promotional or educational events
- Maintain a strong focus on safety professionalism and customer service
- Quote and sell precision ag components and upgrades
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelors or Associate degree in Agriculture Precision Ag Agronomy Ag Business Engineering Technology or a related field
- Strong interest in precision agriculture technology and modern farming practices
- Ability to learn new systems tools and technology quickly
- Strong communication skills with a customer-focused mindset
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to travel between Gooseneck Implement locations including occasional overnight stays
- Valid drivers license and ability to pass a driving authorization check
