What You Will Do:
- Ensuring compliance:Ensuring compliance with federal state and local EHS regulations
- Managing programs:Managing EHS programs policies and procedures
- Training employees:Coordinating occupational safety training for employees
- Responding to emergencies:Responding to EHS emergencies
- Conducting inspections:Completing workplace and equipment inspections
- Investigating incidents:Conducting employee incident investigations
- Monitoring exposure:Monitoring exposure to hazardous chemicals
- Tracking incidents:Tracking the number of incidents and producing reports
- Collaborating with departments:Working collaboratively with different departments to ensure workplace safety
- Oversees all Hazardous Chemical processing of waste in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Assisting with government inspections:Assisting with any government inspections
- Manage and complete all waste streams based on all EPA regulations
- Lead internal Safety Committee
- Work Cross functional with department heads to ensure compliance
Who You Are:
- A Bachelor of Science degree
- Specialization in Occupational Safety and Health or Environmental Health Environmental Sciences
- RCRA Certification
- DOT Hazmat Certification
- OSHA Certification
- Strong analytical interpersonal written and oral communication skills
