Job SummaryThe Kids Club Supervisor is responsible for assisting in the daily operations of the youth center ensuring a safe engaging and enjoyable environment for children. This includes helping with training and ensuring adherence to club standards and maintaining compliance with safety protocols. The Kids Club Supervisor plays a critical role in creating a welcoming fun and nurturing atmosphere for young members while providing exceptional service to addition they are expected to demonstrate professionalism tact and diplomacy when interacting with members children and staff fostering a positive and supportive environment.
Reporting Structure
Day to DayConnect with members regularly and promote youth center activities including warm welcomes magic moments and fond farewells.
Promote the facility amenities programs and the club while maintaining a high level of professionalism and service.
Show professionalism and willingness to coordinate activities and programs with the children.
Must monitor and actively participate with children.
Help deal with problem behaviors of children in the youth center.
Assist in the interviewing hiring and evaluating of all youth center employees.
Help ensure youth center employees are following the club operating procedures and that they are adhering to at least the minimum standards set forth by the Club.
Ensure that children are under constant supervision by childcare attendantsAssist in the development of educational and fun programs for the youth center.
Maintain a running inventory of all equipment in the youth center.
Advise the Kids Club Director and/or Sports Club Director of any equipment needs.
Ensure equipment toys and games in the youth center are safe for all children.
Must ensure the cleanliness of the youth center.
Ensure that daily assignments are completed in their designated areas to uphold Club standards and maintain orderly and organized workspaces arranging the entry area and clearing any trash or debris.
Additional DutiesDue to the dynamic nature of the club employees are expected to assist others as needed and take on additional tasks as assigned by management.
Follow all company club and department policies procedures and instructions.
Represent the companys management team by supporting and enforcing policies while maintaining the highest standards of ethics and integrity.
Maintain a high level of professionalism and a commitment to excellence in interactions with members colleagues and staff.
Promote and follow safe working practices ensuring compliance with safety guidelines and encouraging others to do the same.
Take the initiative in personal and professional growth and maintain any required certifications relevant to your role.
Address and resolve challenges using available resources working with regional and corporate teams to support club operations.
Support the overall efficiency of the team by collaborating and contributing to the clubs goals.
About YouRequired
A high school diploma or equivalent.
A minimum of 1 year of experience working with children in a day care camp or educational setting.
A minimum of 1 year of experience in child supervision activity planning or youth programs.
Basic first aid and CPR certification to ensure child safety.
Preferred
Familiarity with health and safety protocols for childcare environments.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with children parents and fellow staff.
Ability to manage and engage a group of young children in fun age-appropriate activities.
Patience creativity and enthusiasm for working with children of various ages.
Ability to remain calm and attentive in a fast-paced or sometimes noisy environment.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure a safe and structured environment for the children.
Physical RequirementsEngage in physical activities with children frequent sitting standing walking and driving.
Occasional exposure to temperature changes dust fumes or gases.
Squatting kneeling reaching grasping twisting and bending.
Ability to lift carry push or pull up to 50 lbs. on occasion.
Talking hearing and seeing.
Primary Tools/EquipmentToys games craft supplies educational materials etc.
Phone TV computer tablet etc.
First aid kits emergency supplies cleaning supplies etc.
Work ScheduleAdherence to attendance requirements as outlined in the weekly schedule.
Flexibility to work additional hours as needed to meet position deadlines.
Availability to work on weekends and/or holidays as required.
